Hey everyone, I'm new to the community. I was wondering if anyone knew of any hearses for sale in the Central Florida, Central/Northern New Jersey, or Northern California areas for a cheap price (I know, keep dreamin'...). If it needs a little work, that's just dandy. Thanks for reading and for any info anyone comes up with!

Ohio PCS/Eerie shores meet
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Spent the past weekend in Ohio for the Ohio PCS and Eerie Shores professional car picnic. I took Sarah and Chase out to http://www.eatdrinkcrave.com/reviews.htm Awesome restaurant! We hung out pre show, played guitar hero, prepped for the Saturday picnic and the caravan to the drive in movies. Sarah's house is Awesome! I brought my classic nurse outfit to take advantage of her fabulous home and she shot some great pics of me in the back of her hearse:

'47 Pontiac Hearse Update
Now that most of the paint work is done, things are flying along pretty fast. Still haven't solved my back bumper problem. But as you can see, the end is in sight! This last weekend we put on the rear fenders. Now I don't have to worry about knocking the filler neck out of the fuel tank.
My daughter (12) (erm, excuse me, ALMOST 13), helped with waxing the back door, and was crucial to installing one of the rear fenders when a nut needed to be put in a very tight place that only her arm could fit into.
Best of all, we got exact fit, period landau bars. Which is so improbable it kinda boggles the mind.
Also a good picture of our fresh rechrome grille.
Lastly my all-purpose security system "Boudicca"

Our 1959 Cadillac MM 3 Way Hearse
Bryan and I were given a hearse for our birthdays (which are both this month) by some very good friends of ours.
He is definitely a project hearse, but we have hopes of one day having him as close to his original form as possible.

We have 6 other hearses, but they are all in the 70’s era.
We don’t know much about the ‘59’s, and I am not even real sure where to look online for pictures or information about him.
Do any of you have any advice you would be willing to share? Any online links for pictures or information; or any suggestions as to which books I need to buy would be greatly appreciated.

Some photos can be seen here:

Thank you for any help you might be able to provide.

Looking for Locations!
I was curious if anyone knew of any really stand out cemeteries in PA/NJ/DE/MD/VA/WV or NY. Other states are more than welcome, but I want to stay somewhat local for the moment. I'm putting together a location list for a long series of photo shoots I have planned for the year.

I have two places already marked in Philadelphia, West Laurel Hill and Laurel Hill Cemeteries. Photo galleries of both here: http://forever-care.com/gallery/

Also, if anyone is interested being involved with the shoots please let me know as I am looking for models. Male and female models are welcome to volunteer for this. So if you're interested send me a message here or shoot me an e-mail at hauntedpa (at) gmail.com.

Other hearse owners are also more than welcome!

I have to share this...
I don't know if any of you have seen this yet, but it was too funny not to share.

What in the hell would possess someone to make a hearse dance?!
I will admit the hopping coffin is kinda nifty.

Good morning all..
Just found this community here on LJ and after reading back a bit decided that I had to join.

A little about me...I'm 25 and living in Jersey. Currently I own a 1968 S&S Victoria and am working on restoring a 1960 Miller Meteor Electric 3-way. I'm hoping to have the '60 on the road by summer. (I can dream can't I?) My wife and I are into old pro-cars, urban exploration, roller coasters, drive-in movies, pirate events and our annual pilgrimage to Pennsic War...(think ren fair on acid). I maintain a couple of websites and have my own online comic that just started. Yes...there will be hearses involved in some way, shape, or form. The other website is for my passion of getting into trouble. Mainly just photographing abandoned hospitals, hotels, ect...

As a long time enthusiast of hearses, flower cars, ect...I'm going to be lauching what will hopefully be a pretty good central hub for all us pro-car fans out there. If anyone wants to help with the project feel free to let me know. Wouldn't it be nice to not have to hunt for hours, days, weeks for a part we need or an event to take our beloved coach to? Or even sell your coach without paying insane fees to list it on some other sites. I think it would be. Opinions, ect welcome on that.

Anyway, looking foreward to being part of this one and when's the next drive-in meet out in OH? Definitely want to try and make that one!

Here's the current project ;)

Hearsing Around AND “Cadillac Through the Years”
I don’t know if any of you have had the opportunity to meet Craig and Leah (the founders of the “Hearsing Around” Hearse Club in Oregon) or not. I met them on Saturday and I must say they are very nice people and I am really glad they found us while they were on vacation here in the desert. If you ever do meet them, be sure to ask them about their “KILLER Yard Sale” (I promise it’s a story you will really enjoy!)

We were invited to a Cadillac Show in Vegas on Sunday. It wasn’t a hearse show, although a few hearses and combos and a limo were invited. We were asked to bring Mr. Frost (our 1972 Superior 3-Way) and REAPER (our 1976 S&S Centennial).
There were 49 Cadillac’s in total at this show, and the cars ranged in age from the 1920’s all the way to the brand new 2007 models.
It was a beautiful representation of “Cadillac Through the Years”. All of the cars were breathtaking. They were top of the line and most were in mint condition.
The public reaction to our two hearses and the two combos was very favorable, and I thought it was really nice that they wanted to include some professional cars in their show.

My Baby Came Home Today!!!
x-posted, naturally!

I brought Elvira home from the bodyshop today. We had her rust removed from the rear loading door, roof, side doors, misc. areas. She looks so beautifully shiney and brand new!!!!!!!!! I also took some artsy shots to turn into avatars for LJ and for the PCS message boards. Thanks for sharing my joy!
